Changing Lives Therapeutic Service was established in 2020 with the mission of providing accessible, compassionate, and individualized mental health care to individuals in need of support. Since its founding, the practice has remained committed to delivering ethical, client-centered services that promote emotional well-being, stability, and personal growth.

 

We specialize in individual therapy, offering a confidential and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and life transitions. Our approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and focuses on helping individuals develop effective coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, and improve daily functioning.

 

In addition to therapy, Changing Lives Therapeutic Service also provides Peer Support Services exclusively in North Carolina. Peer Support Services are recovery-oriented, non-clinical services delivered by trained peer support specialists with lived experience. These services are designed to complement therapeutic treatment by promoting hope, self-advocacy, skill development, and increased independence. Peer support focuses on helping individuals build confidence, access community resources, and take an active role in their recovery journey.

 

Changing Lives Therapeutic Service provides individual therapy services in  North Carolina and  Virginia, with telehealth options available when clinically appropriate. Peer Support Services are offered only within North Carolina, in compliance with program guidelines and service requirements.
